Arde el día – Landscape and Painting from Rafael Botí to the Present

The exhibition Arde el día. Painting and Landscape from Rafael Botí to the Present offers a comprehensive exploration of the presence and evolution of landscape in painting connected to Córdoba, from the mid-20th century to today. Produced by the Botí Foundation of the Provincial Council in the context of the 125th anniversary of the artist’s birth and the tenth anniversary of the opening of his Art Center, the show is structured around a dual focus.

On one hand, the permanent gallery dedicated to Rafael Botí, renovated specifically for this occasion, reinforces the artist’s role as the starting point of the exhibition’s narrative. On the other, five sections spread across the first and second floors of the Rafael Botí Art Center expand the view to different generations and pictorial languages, establishing a continuous dialogue throughout the exhibition.
