Arts of the Earth
May 12, 2025 – March 5, 2026
Arts of the Earth looks at how artistic practices have changed over the past decades in the face of an environmental crisis that is becoming impossible to ignore. Bringing together works from different disciplines, the exhibition maps out a broad and varied landscape of ideas, materials, and ways of working. Instead of telling viewers what to think or how to act, it takes a more observational approach, showing clear signs of how art has been shifting over the last 60 years—especially in terms of material choices and environmental awareness. This is reflected in historical works that have been reconstructed or reactivated, alongside contemporary pieces that embrace impermanence and point toward a more circular model of art. These works exist in close relationship with the ecosystems they come from, depending on their preservation both for their creation and their eventual return.
