Cristina Babiloni, Ecos de Vida
January 15, 2026 – February 14, 2026
Opera Gallery Madrid offers 'Ecos de Vida,' a warm and evocative solo exhibition by artist Cristina Babiloni
This collection highlights Babiloni’s deep-rooted love for the natural world—from the pulse of the ocean to the vibrant life beneath the waves.
Using a mix of organic and tactile materials like sand, burlap, ceramics, and acrylics, the Castellón-born artist creates dreamlike marine ecosystems that you can almost feel. Her newest pieces expand this vision even further, exploring the raw beauty of volcanoes and earth to create a fascinating bridge between land and sea.
At its heart, 'Ecos de Vida' is about the beauty of nature’s own handiwork. Through her hands-on style, Babiloni explores the passage of time, mimicking the way nature carves, erodes, and builds up layers over years. By blurring the lines between painting and sculpture, her work invites us to slow down and experience the ever-changing rhythms of the world around us.
