David Lynch
January 29, 2026 – March 29, 2026
Enjoy an inviting look into the creative world of David Lynch.
This exhibition brings together a handpicked selection of his paintings, sculptures, watercolors, and early short films, showcasing the unique vision that spans every medium he touches.
The show also features a series of photographs Lynch captured at abandoned industrial sites throughout Berlin in 1999, reflecting his long-standing connection to the city and Europe.
It is a wonderful chance to experience his work here before a major exhibition opens in his hometown of Los Angeles in the fall of 2026.
While many know him for his films, Lynch has always considered himself a visual artist first. His journey began in the late 1960s at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where he created his first "moving painting," Six Men Getting Sick (Six Times) (1967). This multimedia work, which blended painting with film projection, sparked a lifelong interest in experimenting with raw materials and textures that remains at the heart of his practice today.
