Luis Fega
November 7, 2025 – March 1, 2026
Luis Fega, an Asturian artist born in 1952, has forged his path in art as a self-taught creator. His journey began in 1976 with his first exhibition in Santiago de Compostela, marking the start of a career that soon stood out for its talent, receiving grants from the Ministry of Culture and the Principality of Asturias during the 1980s.
In his work, Fega proposes a visual journey that spans from the landscapes of northern and central Spain to evocative mythological scenes. It is fascinating to observe how his style has evolved: what began with sober forms and restrained colors has moved toward compositions rich in ochre tones and an increasingly refined formal elegance.
With a constant presence at major events such as the ARCO art fair (in its 1988, 1990, and 1991 editions) and in exhibitions as significant as the "VI Salón de los 16" at the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art, Luis Fega has established himself as an essential figure for enjoying contemporary art today.
