To Open Eyes Artists’ Gaze

July 3, 2025 – January 31, 2027

In 1940, the artist and teacher Josef Albers famously said that the true meaning of art is "learning to see and to feel life." To him, art and life were inseparable, and his mission was simple: he wanted us to "open our eyes." This exhibition builds on that idea, inviting you to shift your perspective and discover how art can change the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

Instead of following a typical timeline, the gallery is arranged by visual and thematic connections. A vibrant mix of works from different eras and styles, all brought together to highlight the incredible diversity of the Musée National d’Art Moderne’s collection.
