The Palacio de Liria in Madrid is an 18th-century neoclassical palace and the official residence of the Dukes of Alba. Often referred to as Madrid’s “other royal palace,” it houses one of Spain’s most important private art collections, featuring masterpieces by Goya, Rubens, and Velázquez, alongside rare manuscripts and historical artifacts.
The palace, which survived the Spanish Civil War, combines grandeur with cultural heritage, offering visitors a glimpse into centuries of aristocratic history and artistic patronage.
